DCS Commissioning Technician

As a Utilities Commissioning and Startup Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful startup and operation of our state-of-the-art industrial facilities across the Americas. You will provide expert guidance and leadership in commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting for new plants, revamps, and turnarounds, with a primary focus on Utilities/Power Generation and Water Treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety by fostering a proactive safety mindset and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of DCS, PLC, and instrumentation to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize plant performance.
• Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver commissioning projects on time and within budget.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of commissioning engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

• Essential:

·         15+ years of experience in industrial plant commissioning, with a strong focus on the commissioning of DCS and PLC Systems.

·         Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

·         In-depth knowledge of commissioning DCS and PLC systems and regulations

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Preferred:

·         Experience with [specific software or tools, SAP, AutoCAD, simulation software].

·         Six Sigma or Lean certification.
