Job Description

E&I SUPERVISOR required by our Client in the Chemical sector to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Beaumont, TX

Duration:    Approximately 4-5 Months
POSITION SCOPE

As an E&I Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supervising electrical and instrumentation activities on major construction projects. You will ensure the safe and efficient execution of E&I tasks, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance with industry regulations, and on-time project delivery.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision and Leadership: Supervise the subcontracted works. Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure the subcontractor’s team’s performance meets project goals.

Project Planning: Assist in project planning, including resource allocation, scheduling, and task prioritization. Collaborate with construction manager to ensure E&I activities are aligned with project timelines.

Quality Control: Assist the QA/QC engineer in Implementation and Enforcement of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Conduct inspections to verify the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.

Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct safety briefings and ensure that the team adheres to safety regulations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including daily reports, progress logs, and material usage. Supervise generation of as-built documentation by the subcontractor as needed for project closure.

Communication: Foster effective communication within the E&I subcontractor and with Actemium project team on site. Address any issues, conflicts, or concerns promptly to maintain a harmonious work environment.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications: Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor in major construction or industrial projects. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and relevant codes and standards. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety and quality.

Education: A relevant degree or certification in electrical construction and/or a relavent job experience is required.

Safety awareness, flexibility and a will to go for the project is a must.
